I think you should add a gusset fro mthe back of the spring hanger to the frame.  So the springs don't push it forward when they compress.  like this.  Should make it a bit stronger.

Tweeked89

yea i was planning on doing that, gonna reinforce the :pokinit: out of it

just a 5" by 3" tall 3/8" thick chunk of steel will work for me. UPDATE, made my offset shackles and will be drilling holes into the frame and shackles and will have thre front end complete, cept steering and driveline.

Anyone have some suggestion on mounting my gas tank somewhere else, im thinking in the bed against the cab. what about routing and lengthening lines, any suggestions

thanx fellas,

Looks like it is coming along, this is the same thing I was thinking of doing to my 90 excab.
I have a dana 60, 70 the front has a detroit and 35 spline outers, hysteer, the 70 is welded, has disc brakes, and both diffs have 5.86 gears, and 38.5x12.5x15 SX`s.
When you get it done, I would like to see some pics of it from the front and the rear, to see how wide the diffs are.
I can have mine narrowed for about $300.
I also was planning to do the same thing to my wheel base and the bed.

what was your wheelbase coming to again.  I can't remember if you posted that or not.  Love your rig man it looks awesome.  can't wait to see more progress pics.  OH and how are you going to be mounting your seats.  I have some APC seats I'm putting in and I'm not exactly having the easiest time doing so.  Let me know.

i havent measured the wheelbase yet to the exact measurement. my seats just have to angle iron bolted to the bottem of the seats and the another set of angle iron bolt to the floor, then bolt the set together where they meet, angle iron that is
