After a solid 6 years on the my trucks last toyota Alternator I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to the more powerful and reliable GM style.
After poking around reading multiple threads I ordered a TG GM to Toy bracket and a JEGS 100amp single wire GM style alt. To clarify why I went with JEGs is simple... I wanted to eliminate unnecessary wiring (same reason I have a weber carb and a EFi setup on the self) and JEGs designed their alternators to ignite at 880RPMs! And lastly it only costs $90!
Both came in today and ill be making the swap Friday. Any tips, tricks, or input before then would be greatly appreciated!
