V6 Single case with 4.70 to 1 gears

Alright I got a Gear driven single case with 4.7 to 1  gears and a 4 cylinder to V6 adapter plate what I need to know is will it bolt right up to my factory cross member and drive shafts oh yeah and what about the speedometer?

i think you are going to need to move your crossmember, as it will be longer

also, i think you will need the speedometer extension cable, if it is cable driven, if it is electronic, you will need the vss that marlin sells

When I did mine years ago there was no mods needed, except for the speedo cable. Everything else bolted up including the D-shaft.

What do you have to do to the speedo cable?

Just did my brothers the other day.  No mods required, other than the shifter.  You will only have to deal with the speedo cable issue if yours is an electric speedometer.  Marlin has the parts to take care of that issue.  Also, hopefully your 4.7 case is 23 spline.

yes 23 spline and no electric speedo so I should be good.

Put the extension on that Marlin sells. But you do not need it with a single case. The extension is for dual cases. Sorry about the confusion on my part but I installed my single case over thirteen years ago.
