God I hate having my truck down. Looks like it was a blast Tim. Why didn't Pepper have his Bronco there? How did Steve's truck do in the snow? I know when we did Swamp a few months back he was anxious for the white stuff.

Pepper has sunk a gang of $$$$$ in to the runner in the past few months.  He wants to make it his "Family and snow rig"  He did real good, never needed to be on the end of a strap.  Steve's truck was un-stoppable.  He said by the time we hit Dinky Creek Rd. he was at 0psi on his IROKs.  The Dodge however lost a bead (sorry no pics) and a small tug over a tree.  Very good day.

Man that is so awesome. Its gonna be a couple of weeks until I will have time to hit the snow again, so I think I am just going to wait for another big storm.

Awesome pics  wish I was there ;)

So how far did you guys get? :eyebrow:

We ended up not doing Bald and went in through Blue Canyon on what I guess they call Providence.  We made it all the way to Dinky Creek Rd where it meets Rock Creek Rd.  Squirrel and 2 members from my club made it about 3 mi in on Rock Creek.  I hear they fought it all the way.  I am officially changing my pick on tires for snow.  IROKs are un-stoppable.

Yeah I heard that from Kevin Carey (UGET IT) when they first came out. Heard it from a few others since. So why was Squirrel running MTRs and not his Cepeks?

He told me he always saves his Fun Countries for the spring storms.

LCOwner, did Andy with his FJ40 make it? He was going to take his 39.5s IROCs from his buggy on his cruiser. How did he do?

I didn't see him.  I thought some guys from 4WP Whoresalers were going to come up but I never saw them either.  Some Fresno Club folks came up behind us and then Clovis Independents behind them while we were popping the bead back on the Dodge.  As long as that 40 doesn't way as much as that Dodge I'm sure he did fine.  :burnout:

Also Steve came by the shop and filled us in on all the details  Sounded like a lot of fun. I can't wait to get back out :)

Pepper came by with some pictures from the next weekend and the snow looked even deeper. One picture showed 4 out of 5 rigs stuck.
