I recently installed a pair of F150 leafs in the rear of my 91 runner. Adios coils! But I noticed the sleeve/spacer in the stock eye bushings do not pivot. So if I tighten the spring bolt down snug, compressing the spring hanger against the sleeve, the front of the spring won't pivot. If I leave it loose, it the steel sleeve will wear against the side of teh steel spring hanger, plus it might back off.
I'm not sure how it was stock, if Ford let the spring just pivot on the bolt, but ideally it would work like most, the sleeve is tight against the hanger and the spring pivots between the bushing and spacer.
What are the rest of you running that have F150's?
Thanks
