spedo question
« on: Aug 11, 2009, 10:31:30 AM »
i am swapping the rears out of a 89 into my 93. i have 4.11 and the new gears are5.29's Detroit locker int the rear and a tru trac in the front. i think this will be good for the 36 tsl i am running. the 89 is re calibrated for 35's and the 5.29's. what my delima is how do they calibrate those years and how and what do i swap to get my speedo right?  :headscratch:i have never worried about this type of thing but this is my daily driver to work and need it to be close. the cops are very picky about the speeding thing they have already complained about my exhaust.they said my header and high flow cat, flowmaster and 2 1/4 inch exhaust is to loud but they haven't givin me a ticket  :clap:and im not trying to test them to See how picky they are goin to get. please help. thanks

put a better muffler on NOT a smaller muffler

the truck came with 29 inch tires and 4.10 gears

when you go to 35's and 5.29's  it come out the same, no need to "re calibrate"
