Two favors and a Question
« on: Apr 21, 2009, 04:45:25 PM »
Ok I have two favors and a question.

1st Favor. I need a measurement from a second gen, 1988 extended cad, of the rocker panel from the front wheel well to rear one and from the rear of the cab to the rear wheel well. “A pic of someone holding a measuring tap up to the cab would be to much to ask” This is so I can line my rock sliders up the bed, that has yet to be purchased

2nd Favor. When modding my rear axle I measured the for the rear spring perches at 4.5” from the end of my bare axle housing. But my dumb ass can’t remember if that was from the inner of outer edge of the bearing cup mounting bracket. Any one know or have an axle they can check for me?

I would have measured from center pin to center pin and went from there.  Measuring from the end to center pin leaves too much room for error.   :twocents:
