true on the perging
I left thomas with the job of putting the belts and radiator back on
I usually let them warm up in the driveway, them once they get warm ad more coolant

"to the top of the hill"
that aint very far if its the hill Im thinking of

fill it with coolant and keep an eye on the guage

or do it right and purge it
heater core/heater valve connection, is the highest point, and where the air can be let out.

I hope all goes well.
let me know if you need any help.

yeah, I was thinking you had fun with that on the prior post.

you should replace the front one also the one we had off
it looked pretty poor,
and if it got hot enough to pop one hose it couldnt have been good for the other.

you know what one I mean?
glad to hear its all better.

^^ It is even harder with large paws like I have.  However after owning one for 19 yrs now, you learn how to never be in a hurry(just adds to the frustration), as well as all the little tricks needed to make the job easier.

If the engine is back in good running order, no need to sell it now, unless he is looking for something w/an SA, or easier/cheaper to build.
