You put shims in between the inner pinion bearing and pinion head when you set up gears, so yes you can. Any questions you have should be able to be answered here: http://gearinstalls.com/

Well we got it all set up and ready to roll. pushed in the clutch truned the key and "BROOM" she roars to life. I smile I put itin 1st gear let out the clutch and nothing. I ran throught all the gears in the trans and both t-cases. and nothing. I have the r15 trans and dual gear driven cases. I lifted the truck in the air and I can grab the rear drive line and with someone on the inside of the trcu the t-case spins all the way through. shift through the gears and the shafts spin how they are supposed to. But nothing with the trans. I have the marlin r150 to gear driven case. I bought the marlin 23 spline input shaft for the front case. Am i missing something? Everything is ready to go except it wont move on its own.

I was looking at the install instructions and was wondering if you had read them I don't think that you had all the parts you need the coupler and the seal extension. Here are the instructions http://www.trail-gear.com/pdf/100086-1-k.pdf

So we are back at it. the final parts of my kit came in, got my steering box moved forward, lengthened my steering shaft, got rid of the steering extention for the body lift, drivelines made (both square for now), rear third set up and in. So hoping this weekend she will be back up and going under her own power.

i am running the ultimates and it is to much if i was to do it again i would run the dual 2.28s and yes i like the stock set up. I want to lengthen the runner about 7" with a long arm set up but for now the stock likns are tearing it up. We went out and ran a trail called hanging tree this past weekend and I ripped my front DS apart time to rebuild and improve but that trail is sick.

So I have had a few people contact me about what all is done and where I am going form here.

So I started out with a 90 Runner that needed motor work. after getting it running and painting it I sold my 95 SAS chevy and bought a  92 4runner stock with 33" KM2s, a 3" body lift, and a spool in the rear. I decied to take my time and attention and work on the 92. First I installed 5.29 ft and rr and welded the spider gears in the front. I rocked it that way for a while and only broke a CV. Well I got tired of the IFS and decided to do the SAS. So we installed a home built SAS with the axle out of my 85 (Looking at going full widths on it any ways). Did the 4" Pro Comp coils and a 2" spacer in the rear with stock mounts (Plan on doing long arm and heims some day) In the front I have a 6 spring spring pack that we fine tuned for what I was looking for. Then I decied to run the duals and I already had a 4.7 case and a 2.28 case so I got the Marlin adapter to run the gear case behind the 5spd V-6, then I got the TG adapter. So now I am running the Ulitmates with a twin stick in the rear case. As for drive lines I built front and rear square tubes (Not much of a road runner). I ditched the 33" KM2s and found a set of 37" Toyo Open Country MTs for a smoking deal and slaped them on a set of bead locks (Still need to finish install). So after much body trimming I decided to slap down some paint as I am not a big fan of red. My daughter said it was smurf blue and that I am papa smurf so on went the sticker. After that I decided it was time for some recovery and I bought the SB 8K winch and that is where it stands now. I need to get the Dirty 30 ft and rr axles and build the front bumper and I will be getting the 4xinovations cage. but as for now I am loving it other than the stock birfs.

So this weekend we went out playing and it did not go good. I arrived at our meeting point and blew a heater line. By passed that and headed out. then the muffler blew off. then the front driveline pulled out twice. then I punched a hole in my gas tank then luke toasted his motor (we think) then I lost my front driveline coming home and almost took out some older lady. then I lost one of my rear shocks
