Would you buy a closed knuckle dana 60?

I know where 1 or 2 are and have been told they're for sale.  I know they're not near as strong as the open knuckle axles, but if you could get one pretty cheap would it be worth it?

I don't know anything about them...but doesn't Bobby Long make stuff for them?

Far as I know, no.  They're not like the sought after dana 60 fronts that are super strong.  Seems like I remember them having smaller shafts :dunno:

No on the closed knuckles. IIRC closed knuckle axles have drum brakes and last I heard, no one was making an adapter to run discs. If you want a 60 save some coin and get an open knuckle. Then again if you can get it cheap enough, you could lop off the closed knuckles and buy deadenbear inners and outers and run discs and the standard 35 spline stuff.
