« on: Aug 01, 2007, 01:41:32 PM »
ok i know it has been a LONG time but i now have a 90 reg cab sb in GREAT shape. when i got it the engine was torn apart because the kid thought the timing chain was gone WRONG. he fried him computer. so i fixed the wiring and tore the engine ALL the way down rebuilt it and started putting it back together. well i got it all back together except there are some pieces missing. now for the specs. it has the 22re with the 5 speed, 3" lift and 31" tires and it is in PERFECT shape inside and out. now for my question i cant find 1 part to get it started. if you look under the hood in frount- look down the frount of the engine about 1/2 way down the timing chain cover on the pass side there is a tube connected to the back side of the cover. what is it and where dose it go and where can i get one? please help, this truck has been sitting for about 6 mo while i was looking for this part i got on here before and no one answered PLEASE HELP

If I remember right and am picking up what you're laying down that is a coolant tube that goes to one of the heater hoses.

there was 2 lines that came off of the back, the skinnier one that does a upwards u-turn that you can see in the 2nd pic, and the larger 1/2" line that runs up to my efi.

That is the water by-pass pipe, and the little line goes to the coolant controlled vacuum switch!

Yeah TAP =  :moon:

From what I hear the reason they have everything is cause nobody wants to buy from them!!  I've seen some of the rigs that are complete for sale and it was they want WHAT for that?
