Topic: Rotella 5-40W Synthetic in a 22R

I was just given 8 gallons of Rotella still sealed , is it ok if I run this stuff in my 22R?

I've been pondering this myself, especially since it's usually pretty cheap.  All I can tell you is some guys swear by running this stuff in their honda vfr motorbikes, and considering the high redline and general abuse they see I'm pretty sure it'd be fine in our r series

5 seems liek a relatively low weight.... it should be fine though... im going to run rotella

its cheap and its good oil, they use it a lot in diesels, the delo 400 is good stuff too

I'm gonna run the Delo 400 when I get my truck running.  The guy I bought the motor from said to use dela 400 for the zinc and something else.  It makes the engines run better, but you might not pass smog!
