Woah.  You can buy used birfs from people here and Pirate a lot cheaper than that.  If you're looking for the current "best" get a 30 spline set from Bobby.  longfieldsuperaxles.com

I just sold my full set of front shafts for $40 to a friend. I am running 30 spline Longs with his hub gears. I didn't want to have to change axles on the trail.

I have full longfield shafts its the outer casing that goes on me. Someone told me there was a n upgraded casing. Do you know anything about that. All the bolts on the caseing that conect to my steering arm snaped last weekend and I couldent get the broaken bolts out, so I had to buy another casing.

One thing about the "knuckles" if that is what your talking about!  Is that you got to periodically check the torque on the nuts that holds your steering arms on!  If not, they have a tendency to break!  Even though Marlin designed the 6 stud knuckle, the one being offered is of poor quality.  That's why Marlin doesn't carry them!  Get a  used set and just make sure you check the torque on them from time to time!

check them before every trip use locktight and torque them properly get a set of ARP knuckle studs front front range.. imo you will never have to worry about breaking knuckle studs

X2 on the FROR knuckle studs. It's very important to check them periodically. I'm gonna purchase the knuckle and hub studs from them when I can scrape some more cash together.

dont forget that ARP studs have a higher torque for their knuckle studs. IIRC FROR said its like 110-120 ft/lb
