Topic: REAL TIME [Throw out bearing]

The drawings in the FSM don't clearly show which way the bearing should be facing?  And since this is a manual to 5spd swap I have no point of reference.

Which way should the bearing face? 

OPTION 1: Flat side towards clutch


OPTION 2: rounded side facing clutch
