Topic: bleeding the steering box??

i found trail gears instructions and it said turn lock to lock 20 times and refill as needed... dont run with the engine on ect.... i have the older style steering box with no bleed valve.... tried turning it lock to lock about 60 times and the level didnt go down??

I've always done it with the truck running.  fill the reservoir, fire it up, go lock to lock and keep the reservoir full until the fluid no longer foams.
