quick 22re question

i have an 86 runner and i'm about to put an 85 engine in it. The 85 engine came with the harness and everything is still plugged in, so i figured i might as well just plug the 85 into my 86 cpu instead of dealing with all the wires. this will work right?

yep. only time that wouldnt work is on an 89 newer 22re
