Man, I don't even know of anybody who's tried swapping in a 2rz yet, everybody just seems to go with a 3rz.  A girl I worked with this summer told me she had a rolled tacoma 2wd and her dad would probably sell it cheap, but her dad had already promised another guy he'd sell it to him so I missed out, but I wanted to try swapping it in one of my rigs.  Good luck, and I'm sure a few others will see this and maybe be able to help.  What year truck are you gonna swap it into?

I know of one 2RZ-FE conversion right here in Fresno. He is a good customer of ours, and was the one who gave me the idea to remove the Tacoma interior fuse box.

22R-E     112@4600 HP   142@3400 TQ   9.0:1
22R-TE   135@4800 HP   173@2800 TQ   7.5:1 - Boost: 6 psi

2RZ-FE   4   142@5000 HP   160@4000 TQ   9.5:1
3RZ-FE   4   150@4800 HP   177@4000 TQ   9.5:1

I can try to get some pics, but it will take me some time... He did this to a 2nd gen Yota.

Much cleaner installation. I did this on both Bevin's and Dean's (3rd gen 3RZ) conversions, but I have not researched how to do it to Marlin's and my (1st gen 3RZ) conversions. I just need to go over my wiring notes again and I can get them removed.

I suppose that is the only sore thumb of the swap, especially on a 1st gen truck that uses the older glass fuses, so it would be nice to have it removed on our trucks, but in my case, I am already running circuits through removed T100 circuits (brake fuse, AC fuse, Dome light fuse, clock fuse, cig. fuse, etc), such as my E-Locker, CB Radio, and a couple others. So I'll still need to mount a fuse block there to cover these circuits that I like having fused.

Yea it is 2.4. I am going to measure the dash I might just swap the whole harness dash and all out of the taco since I want to use the taco cluster.

Yknow, I sometimes wonder why more people don't just do that, but then again to me it seems easier to do a dash swap than all the wiring cause I'm a wiring idiot.
