getin ready to do a 83 cab swap and i need some advice... like easy tricks to get the job done faster.... shittuf like that... :thumbs:

Bringing it right down to the wire I see!  Sounds strangely familiar ;)  You could either leave as much of the donor cab intact as possible or go the same kinda route I did and gut the cab and build it back from scratch.  I kinda like the gutted style as it lets you inspect everything quite nicely.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I swapped an 84 2WD cab onto my 83 4WD. I just disconnected everything that went from frame to cab on both trucks, pulled the 83 off and set the 84 on. Then reconnected everything. It was almost as simple as it sounds. Just had to cut a hole in the floor of the 2WD cab for the t-case shifter.
'80's Toyota 4WD P/U, Buick 231 V6, Holley 4 bbl, Weiand intake, Downey headers, custom TH-350 L/U w/700R4 low gearing, dual tanks, dual batterys, other crap ...

On this note any help with were I should unplug everything. Just rolled my truck and survived so I'm swappin him out. Putting an 82 cab on an 83
