Spring Perch Help!
« on: Nov 18, 2005, 08:52:37 PM »
I need to know what the distance is between the 2 spring perches on a solid front axle, I think it is 28 3/4" but I'm not positive.  :help:

I need to know the measurement for tomorrow morning because I am getting them put on... Help Please!! (By the way it is 12:53 AM here)

Any help would be greatly appriciated!

when i measured my toyota springs that are supposedly 2 1/2" they were really more like 2.33"

when i measure my 2 1/2" ford explroer leaves, i found they were really like 2.66"

so a standard 2.5" wide leafspring might not be actually 2.5" wide
