Spring perch question
« on: Sep 07, 2016, 05:58:29 PM »
I'm due for new spring perches on my front axle-the pin whole is augered out. Everywhere I've looked has the 3-hole perches. I get tire rub at full lock with the perches I have now. Can I use the rearmost hole on the new perches to push the axle and wheels forward or will that mess up the geometry. Am I stuck using the center pin hole?

Personally,I don't like three hole perches, think about it this way..you want everything centered on the axle. I take it that you have a welder,a cheep fix is to use 3/8 plate drill new hole, weld it on top of stock perch.

Just my two cents
