That's pretty cool. I always wanted to play with fiberglass rear quarters.

NVMD lol, I found it earlier in your thread. I actually was going to purchase a set from them and it was a but load of shipping and customs to get it here in the US. I guess they are out of Canada or something. Would have ended up paying for two sets of fenders after shipping and all. They sure look great though

A bit more work on the 4runner.  Got the fiberglass quarter panels fitted.  A fair amount of trimming involved.

Also got the metal wheel wells cut out welded and seam sealed.  Used POR 15 on the metal following using the degreaser and acid wash metal prep. A bit of the POR 15 primer as well for areas that may be painted over.  For areas that were in okay condition I also used Zero Rust to lay down a bit of rust protection.

Sanded the inner areas where the 3m Adhesive will be placed.

Here is the 3 m adhesive.  Had to make up a dispensing tool as I did not have a dual calking gun.  Used some dowling and made a dual application device.

Needed to use lots of clamps.

I finished up the front windshield area as well.  Cut out the rusted areas and welded in new metal.

Used POR 15 and then the POR 15 self etching Primer.

I also bought a new windsheld seal from Corey.  This is the one that is from Japan and does not require the windsheld adhesive and metal trim peices.

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I have posted and progress has been very slow.

I have removed the transfer case, transmission and replaced the clutch and flywheel with a Marling Crawler unit.

working on the install of the dual transfer case and budbilt crossmember.

I have the Radesign triple sticks which I will be installing.  While I was under the vehicle cleaning up some rust I found that the rear heater lines were totally pooched.  Sprung a large leak while wire brushing.  As well, with the triple sticks and Allpro driveline brake , it doesn't look like I will be able to safe the rear heater.

I am in the process of mounting the dual transfer case with the crossmember. Not sure how much cutting of the floor I will need.

Anybody else use the Radesign on a 1st gen 4runner without a body lift and the allpro transfer case brake. .  How much of the floor needs to be cut out?

I have cut out a number of spacers to lower the crossmember 1/2 inch to give a bit more room.

Nice progress! All I know is that even with a small body lift that shifters are a tight fit
