Topic: wont start when cold

i have a 81 yota 22r will start with gas poured down carb only when cold while its warm starts perfect any ideas

the choke sounds like it is not working.. try n look at it to see if it works

Did it sit for a while with gas in it?  Every 22r rig I've had that sat for any length of time didn't like starting cold.  They'd start fine once warm, but cold starts were a pita.

maybe some jets are clouged up in the carb..take it apart and rebuild it

just got mine rebuilt and picked it up today

I wouldn't buy a weber anymore.  It seems that they just suck anymore.  Rumor is they aren't made in Spain anymore.

nothings made where its suppose to be so oh well lol my friend has one on his and is amazing

my weber was made in spain it says so right on the carb.
