Dont do the axles but i did the inside of my cab with it and it holds up really good. Also makes it all rust proof from water and stuff.
did you just roll it over that factory tar like sound deadener?
You need to sand everthing down so the liner will stick, so as long as you have a clean serface you should be ok
do you have any pics of the inside? I also have a question. ever since i have installed my body lift i cannot get the shift boots to fit back correctly. the angle of the shifter is off a little bit and when i have the boots on i cannot shift the gears smoothly. i was thinking of trying to get a hold of the newer center pieces from the tacomas with the dual leather boots and fiberglassing them to the floor board or something. just an idea. anyone else had this same problem? and what did you do to fix it?
Definitely don't Herculine your axle housing. Can you imagine if you ever needed to weld on it? As for Heculining the interior, you do need to remove that sound deadener tar. I found quite a bit of rust underneath that stuff on both of my rigs.
