I just got a CU1430 from rockauto for my 86 extracab..

2 inches taller than stock
3 row vs 2 row

brass/copper construction.

Should fit......................
(I'm out of town, so I'm not 100% certain, say 98%.....)

Get one for a V6.  The one for the 22RTE is bigger, but you have to cap off the turbo coolant return line.  But the V6 radiator is bigger.

Emssvitil--how much did that radiator cost ya?  And shipping cost?

I'm gonna link this post into my buildup page, so I have a reference number.  The radiator I got for my truck was the stock 4 cyl one, cause I was running out of $$.  And I'm not fond of the plastic and aluminum setup on these cheaper ones.

FWIW rockauto hooked up my POS for about $80; picked up one with the auto trans cooler (to run my engine oil) for my 84 and it worked awesome! Now it lives in another member's ridiculously built 84 4Runner. Plastic tanks be damned! Oh, I also stuck in a 180* t-stat and that helped a bunch. Next build I have an F250 radiator (3-row w/trans cooler again) to use. I am not afraid to cut-to-fit anything.

I have for years run the three row radiators out of the v6 trucks and 4runners but recently I purchased an all welded aluminum 2 row radiator from a body parts shop on line. I'm sure this thing is made in China but from everything I can tell it's well built and cools even better than the three row radiators I have ran in the past. The best part is it only cost 120 bucks. If you are shopping for a bigger radiator I would recommend these to anyone.
