2000 3RZ into a 85 4runner

Read the 3RZ thread, didn't see what I needed. What is everyone running for a lower hose? I matched one up at BAP that I thought would work well, but I installed the steering box and shaft and it rubs the dampner and the framerails. The stock taco 3RZ hose at the radiator end is 5" lower that my rad. inlet. I need to figure out what to use, just canot find the info. Thanks in advance.

I have one in my '85 truck and used a hose from a t100.  I had to cut about a inch off of the engine side of the hose though.  Also, make sure you have the correct belt on the alternator or it will sqash the hose between the alternator and the frame rail.

Golden sir. I will pick one up tomorrow. Thanks

I'll take a pic of mine tonight for you and post it tomorrow. It's kind of a Frankenstien of hoses. It uses some of the factor Taco hose and some Stainless Steel tubing.

i have seen regular hose and some springy stuff that you can form your own hoses and they hold their shape... dont remember where though

Genius....It's amazing how obvious the problem is once someone else solves it. My alt belt is adjusted all the way out and still squeaks (thanks Napa). This rubbed a hole in my lower hose.

Ok here is the pic I promised three days ago...

The wire tied around the hose just above the alternater is holding a piece of tubing on that protects the hose from rubbing on the alternater bracket.
