heater relay

the heater relay in my 86 P/U is done.can a relay from the auto parts store be wired in it's place.what have people used and where did you get it from.

why dont you find a used one :dunno:

i might have one  i have a  86 2wd,  wheres it at in the truck :dunno:

i don't really like putting used electrical components on my truck.i will buy the factory relay if i have to($38.)but if i could use one from an auto parts store($10.)i would rather do that.a relay is a relay right.
