Napa's kit want come with metal backing guides ( I dont think) , Poor yes , haha , not ordering today , haha .Just been trying to get on that site for a couple of days , can you ?
ALL  20R  timing kits have  steel guides


hang on i'll see,   but yes  doesnt matter if you get them from autozone,  20R  timing kits have metal guide

Definately go to your local parts store. One of the cool things about these old moter is you get stuff like the dual timing set cheap.
1985 toy, Hybrid 20r/22r on propane, 30splines, custom built leaf packs, welded front and rear diffs, dual ultimate crawler, full hydro, full exo, flat bed, 37' mtrs

I just really dont like the quality of the parts from those places even if they are cheap . I'd rather pay a little more for Quality , not saying I havent bought from them places but dont really like to .

I understand, go to rising sun, honestly that is where I buy a lot of my stuff. They sell aisin parts, japanese made parts cheap.

That's big bucks, I wouldn't get my stuff through them. I do but certain things from places like that. How often do you drive this thing? Is it just a trail tuck? There are a lot of things to consider. I have better ways to spend my money. I am running their adjustable timing gear and a couple other odds and ins, but by no means was my engine put together with their parts. I'm pretty sure you can mail order rising sun parts. I would definately look into it. On the other hand if you have your heart set on spending big bucks on LC stuff be my guest.

I was joking with Glen , there's know way I'd be able to buy everything from LC . And yes this is my Daily Driver , hardly take it on the trails !!!!!
