ok well the vibration seems alot better, yet at low crusing speed 2k rpms it likes to jitter, but for now im happy/broke. :) anyone have an idea on why my steering wheel shakes back and forth while driving? i made sure the tire pressure was even in all tires (my OBA kit kinda sucks). it didnt do this befor last weekends trail run.

What type of wheeling did you do? Did you go through mud? Maybe the backside of the wheels have mud? Maybe a wheel weight came off?  :twocents:

It was trails that had some mud, some water. nothing special. I completly pressure washed it down so it couldn't be mud. i didnt check to see if i through a weight. thanks.

Nope Tice it's identical to a factory front shaft. Why? is your double joint at the slip yoke end?

The last time my wheel started the "shimmy" my upper and lower bearing retainers came loose. unfortunately I had to drive 25 miles to get to my tools (was lazy when I prepped) and by the time I got home one of my upper bearing was destroyed. Torque all 16 of those 17mm nuts at 80foot pounds and go from there. if it's not gone (vibration) buy Marlins new axle seals and tear it down I bet you will find a bad bearing if they are aren't loose
