How to get rid of that moldly musty smell?

Does anybody know how to get rid of that moldy must smell that is lingering in my cab?
I pulled my carpeting, seats, the fabric door panels out of my truck and cleaned everything with parsons ammonia, I even sprayed Lysol in my air vents and let my truck and its fabric interior parts air out for 3 days. When checking all of the truck's interior and all of its parts everything was dry and did not smell any more. When everything was back together I put in a box of backing soda, and today when I went into my truck the interior still smells musty and moldy. Thank you for your time.

It's probably still lingering in the seats.  Did you re-install the carpet?  I'd toss it and the seats and replace them with new ones.

Are you running the AC? It may have a dirty evaporator coil that is causing the air to smell.

You would have to remove the coil and clean it with an alkyl cleaner.

If you have the smell with the fan / AC off it's not the evap coil.

If you can leave the vehicle open in a dry area do that   I used to get a musty smell for wet carpets, but after a summer of no doors, it went away   you can't just throw it under a tarp though, cause you'll still get the humidity.  If you can park it in a garage with all the windows down, or the doors off, that would work.

spill some used gear oil under the seat  I promise it wont smell musty anymore.

You pull the headliner?  Might want to check that.  Ditch the carpet fer sure, you can never really get that crap clean.  All it takes is some humidity to get the smell back in ta carpet, it never really goes away.  For the seats, I have used orange clean and oxy clean together with a brush on seats then use a hose or power washer to get ALL the soap out...gets seats REAL clean.  You have to let em dry in the sun or in a room with a dehumidifyer or AC.  Then put em back in the truck and Scotch Guard them.  Only go through all this if your seats are worth saving.

My mother-in-law, years ago, spilled a bucket of old bait in her vehicle (or some other such fishy thing, I think that's what it was though). We got something akin to a bug bomb for severe odors. It was when Mark owned a bodyshop and I think we got it from a professional cleaner distributer.

I found the culprit and the cause of it. I was driving to work today and it was really humid and rainy today in my area and I had my AC on. When I got out my left pant leg by my ankle had wet spots on it. I thought it was from the rain and I had a leak but when I looked under my dash the AC duct going to the driver side register was soaked with condensation and the carpeting was moist and had that smell. When I got home from work out came the carpeting. I will find out for sure tomorrow if the smell is gone If not I will take Mrs Willy Mammoth's advice.

Does any one know were to get a Vinyl replacement flooring a Reg cab Tacoma?

Never seen vinyl for a tacoma, I really like the bedliner option.

Make sure the AC drain is clear.

There should be a hose in the firewall on the passenger side that you may need to get under the truck to see.

If it pluggs up the condensate water will leak into the truck.

Take a wet vac or a wire and clean it out.

The smell is still there so it has to be in the seats our the fabric door inserts. I think I will be getting rid of all the fabric in the interior of my truck.

Hmm bed liner inside the cab that sounds like a good Idea.

sprayon/rollon bedliner is a much better option than the vinyl or rubber inserts.  If yo uget watter under those, it doesn't dry up or evaporate, it'll sit there and rot.  And trust me, it does get under there   Nothing can get under the bedliner, and you don't have to worry about it shifting, and you can use a wet rag, or a hose to clean it out
