2 questions. plz help

1.is there a thread for detailing a 350 swap or is it go by ear.?
2. what is the compression supposed to be in the 22re?

Not that I've seen here.  You may wanna sneak over to pirate and yotatech and check them.  I'd like to see one for swapping a tundra v8 into a 1st gen :yupyup:

compression should be at least 140,  if its fresh  150-170  depending on the build

Downey  would be the best  to get parts from for a v8 swap,  but  thats a LOT of weight

first time you jump it with a v8  your gonna :rivers:

3rz would be better for tha jumpin.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5
