Topic: 90` ex-cab 1st s.a.s questions

Hey guys so I'm not at all new to watching "trolling" the site but have never posted before.. and am not new in the least to Toyota s my dad sold theme all my life and have built many them. But being on the east coast of had a lot of ifs. Lifts and basic trucks. But finally came across all the right parts form my s.a.s.  staring with a 90` Toyota ex-cab  Sr5 with my favorite 3.0. !!  Never had any issues and love the power.  Anyway so I have most of my kit together I just have a lot of small tech questions. Maybe some dumb ?`s. But oh well.  So far I have got all my good info from this site but now have a few more. Will try and start build thread a.s.a.p. been snapping lots of pics.                                                        1st recommended gears for d.d. weekend wheeler V6 on 35`s.    4.88 or 5.29?                                                              Waiting on my marlin eco seals but my knuckle balls are surface rusted should I and can I clean or use a grinder lightly .and Lucas oil red and tacky for repackaging my birfields ok?      I know I have a lot more ?`s but this will b a good start. Any help would b appreciated thanks guys

I have the 3.0, 35" tires and run 5.29 gears.   Put it this way, I wouldn't want any taller gears.  The engine needs all the help it can get with large tires.
