Topic: vehicle speed sensor?

vehicle speed sensor? diagnostic 4-2. what is that and how can I fix it? The fsm don't say any thing about it no even where it is located. can anyone help me out? it is an 89 22re manual tranny.

it takes the place of a spedo cable on your truck.  it is bolted to the tail  cone on the t-case.
