Will Marlin Vehicle Speed Sensor mate to the stock Toyota Electric VSS?

I need to eliminate the stock Toyota Electronic VSS due to the fact it faces backwards and the plug will be in my way for a driveshaft mounted E-Brake

I want to buy the Marlin VSS adapter and try to mate it to the stock Electric VSS.

My question is do you know if the Stock Electric VSS will pull apart into two pieces so I can scew the Marlin adapter to it?

Our VSS sender is more or less a mechanical-to-electronic speed signal converter. It has a female threaded end that attaches to a threaded mechanical sending unit. The aluminum boss of the Toyota RF1A electric sender does not have a threaded end and therefore our VSS will not attach to it regardless if you open it up or not. If possible, you would need to use JB Weld or some other hokey method of somehow "gluing" our VSS to your aluminum boss which I would certainly not endorse.

I believe this last picture shows how our VSS sender requires a threaded male end for proper attachment, which the Toyota electric sender does not have any provisions for.

It is true that the Toyota electric VSS has a nylon gear connected to a rotating shaft -- similar in design to the mechanical sender -- however you will have to come up with some backyard peanut butter + bubble gum fabrication skillz in order for our VSS to function with the Toyota electric VSS.

Instead, I strongly recommend you put your electric VSS up for sale, because it costs over $200 new from the dealer, and then get a mechanical sender, as shown in the first 2 images, which are seriously a dime a dozen.

I am going to pull a Mechanical sender out of my parts truck, mate it to your VSS adapter (that I will now purchase) and throw it back in.
