Hi all, newbie here. New Zealand based hobby gearbox builder wondering if anyone could clarify if theres a differance between the 2WD and 4WD drive input shafts?
Im rebuilding an early W55 RWD box and am trying to source a correct tooth count input shaft. I have seen a couple on Ebay that would suit my build, but the seller states its for "4wd only".....i take it theyre to suit a W56 4wd box, but the input shaft for sale on Ebay looks identical to what i need?  From what research i can find, only the US-model Lexus IS300 W55 had a differant length input from all other W series ever made.   Any reason why those W56/4WD input shaft Wouldnt work with my W55 build? Thanks all
