diffrence between 22re 2wd and 4wd engine??

hey is there a diffrence between a 2wd and 4wd 22re??  why the ?.... im converting my 91 2wd to a crawler dd... some people say the 2wd is 2 bolt and the 4wd is 4 bolt??

I now that they have different oil pans, but don't know anything else.

a 22R is a 22R, except the oilpans and pickup tubes are different between 4wd and 2wd.

whoever said two bolt and four bolt is thinking GM, not toy....kyle is right; pans and pickups.

nope not yet!!! it sux!!! i miss my 85 and wheelin.... its probably gonna be a bit longer then i thought cuz im prolly goin to wyotech in january but not sure yet??? i could have it built by jan but i really want to do it right!!...rebuild everything, lockers axles gears all at the same time instead of progressivly building it up..... im guessing im gonna dump 6-7 k into it all at once!!! i was thinkin about just gettin a beater solid axle or ifs... at this point i just want somthin to wheel!! ya know?? but i almost got all my dets paid so im almost at the point to start slowly buying stuff!!

hey mike,I'm doing the cutting and torching and grinding in petaluma,then having yotaman finish it.I finally got my front axle done.marlin hy steer,30 spline bobby long birf,cromo axles,and a arb locker with 5:29's.I'll might need help with cutting and grinding I'll call you up.

this is kinda off topic but....... 11bravo.... im goin to wyoming... hopefully if the loan works out and everything.... im gonna be taking diesel tech and adv diesel... and as far as were i will work.... i dont give a $hit really... as long as i get paid good!!! at this point in my life i care more about money than location,,,,, surely that will change later on but i want $$$$ u goin to wyotech?

Yes, it is sort of OT. Talking about work so you can buy more parts keeps it a little in line. No, I don't go to WyoTech. I work for the Cat dealer here. I am a mechanic supervisor for a maintenance contract at one of the coal mines.

I was just curious if your were going diesel or gas and if you planed to stay in the area. WyoTech is a good school with a good reputation. You should be able to find work with no problems in the diesel field. Wyoming is a very different place than Cali. We have more antelope than people and this is where they test the wind before they send it elsewhere.
