It is a pain to press it off, setting it up takes longer than removing it. Cut a groove in the retaining collar with a dremel on both sides of the collar & whack the grooves with a chisel a couple times to crack the retainer. Then all there is to press off is the bearing. Heat the new collar in the oven before you press it on, goes a little easier with the collar expanded. I have always had a failing bearing when the axle leaks so I always replace them.
