When I pulled it off the first time it was straight up, like the top picture
Changed it, and now it looks like the bottom picture
I set the timing and lost power.  I have read that some guys have it advanced quit a bit. 
I am kinda lost   :hammerhead:, the one thing that I am thinking is that the po had the head milled and put a mild cam, so I might need an adjustable cam gear to get it dialed in. 
I think I am going to advance the timing until it pings then back it off until it stops.
