installing power steering into a non power steering
« on: Mar 09, 2009, 01:00:18 AM »
I am looking to put power steering into my 81 toyota 4x4 that has manual steering... I have the gearbox, pump, hoses/lines, pulleys, and belts (aka a complete 84 toyota 4x4)...since the trucks are two different years is there anything I need to know be doing the swap... I am doing high steer on the 84 and get new setup with the IFS box and no longer need the push pull setup so I want to put it in my 81 is it just the matter of swapping them or will it require mods? info/ pics would help thanks

as long as they are both 22r motors it all should bolt right up besides of course you will need to mount up the IFS box!
