I'll find a few pics of a few that are doved in the rear and you will soon change your mind!!!! lol But i'm sure you have seen wat it looks like i know! 
I really like the thought of the doved bed , but I have yet to see a 3rd gen that looked good imo. Post up a picture of one that you think looks clean though! I still think he should make a tube bed and then make removable bed sides for it
That way you could keep it looking like a truck and not worry about trashing beds.
