imo..
I would absolutely say first gen! I just started building an 86 and I must say the removable top out ways any argument that can come from a second gen lover
! 22re comes in both so you cant really use that as leverage against the first gen
! solid axle runners are getting out of control expensive
so a SAS is most likely going to be needed! that is my biased opinion!
