What is needed to put 97 4runner 2.7 L in 86 4runner 22RE
« on: Sep 08, 2006, 08:13:44 PM »
I have a 97 4runner 2.7L engine and I want to put that engine in my 86 4 runner that has a 22RE.  What is needed, because the 97 is an automatic and I do not want automatic.  Which fly wheel, bell housing, clutch and motor mounts are needed?  Does Marlin make motor mounts yet???  My 86 already has SAS, 2 T cases and ARB's.  Just need more ponies.../torque..Thanks

you need a w59  bell housing  , but you'll need to talk to Bigmike  about the flywheel and wiring
