Looking at buying a set of stock alum wheels and tires from a 94 4runner this afternoon and just wanted to confirm they will fit my 85 4runner if i pop out the center plastic cap to fit over the front hub??

the offset on the 94 rims is differnt they rub on the tie rod on the solid axle

Shoot i was afraid of that and really dont want to spend an extra 200.00 on wheel spacers so i can sport stock wheels. Here is a link to the ad, he told me they came off his 94 4runner http://visalia.craigslist.org/pts/1510485379.html

they look very nice...   yea i came across this problem when building my old truck. I sold the rims and tires that came with the  85. figured it was no big deal i got the wheels and tires of my wifes 97 4 runner. put them on and instant drag on the tie rod.
