You're tranny is good in this circumstance. I just payed $1000.00 to get mine rebuilt boy are those parts expensive. Last night I put the tranny back in and a new toyota clutch. took it down the road and pop pop pop pop, went home and could'nt sleep got up this morning put the truck back on the lift raised it up put it 1st and let it run. the popping noise to my surprise was'nt my tranny at all it was the ring gear missing about 6 teeth, now i need a new set of 5:29 gears .
