i wouldn't waste my time with that 44. closed knuckle junk...although older fords had a kingpin 44 with open knuckles. i wonder how that compared in strength to a balljoint 44, cuz balljoints suck.
that tranny could be a NP435 or one of the many variants dodge used like the NP4500(NOT to be confused with the NV4500) which was a close ratio cousin of the 435 without the granny 1st gear
