We ain't saying power tools aren't an improvement in a craftsman's efficiency and output.  They are absolutely necessary in a modern world and a real improvement.  We're just sayin there's a point where these power tools reduced our respect for quality in favor of quantity.  The quality in craftsmanship is just not there anymore.  You can believe that has a lot to do with the elimination of apprenticeship programs and the need for master craftsmen.  There's just not a demand for this caliber of work anymore.  An accomplished carpenter back in the 1860's had about as much respect as the town doctor, if not more.  These old timey hand tools help the guys who still care, get back in touch with that respect and carry on in quality and tradition.  That's all.

Definitely more, they knew what they were doing! :gap:
