Long story short, if they hassle you about warranty issues ask them what their "acceptable tolerances" are when they design their products... They will change the subject by replacing the product to keep you happy and shut you up. I preferr my adapters to be machined by a reputable company, not an 8 year old chinese kid with a harbor freight drill, block of the cheapest available aluminum, and an etch-a-sketch cad program.
