why would you have to wing it just measure and inch shorter on the bolt from where its sitting you you have thread than you are fine if not spend 10 bucks on some bolts and use your old washers and what not. you should only have about 2" of shank or what ever you wanna call it and that should work the body lift is 2 and then the bushing and sheet metal.. Simple mathmatical equations can help.
