ok if your take that little clip thing off the rubber boot and pull on it it will come off i took them off both my toyota's and can lock the rear brake up doesnt leak or anything so its fine to take it off. I see it pointless being there unless your towing a trailer or somehting which is semi unheard of on a toyota
