I've got a question to ask any and all of you welders out there. I don't weld much. I bought this lincoln 125hd wire feed(no gas) for this project. It seems that it welds better on the angle iron than the tubing. Why is that. I can weld with lower power and cleaner on the angle iron. The tubing(that's stamped "taiwan steel"), I have to turn the power way up. I get a lot of splatter too.
