The point is to do the one that makes the most difference first and then progress mods from there.  Why save money to do everything at once when you can enjoy the benefits of one or more of the options along the way.

I did the 4.7 t-case, followed by ring & pinion when I did a taller lift and larger tires and then when the parts got transferred to the 4Runner I upgraded to the dual ultimate.  Some people prefer a different build order.
